- April 2008, Centre for Robotic Surgery performed its first live transmission of a laparoscopic general surgery operation between Singapore and Dubai.

This Event was part of the 2nd International Conference of Emirates Society of Laparo-Endoscopic Surgeons meeting held in Dubai.

The landmark live robotic transmission is very much in line with Centre for Robotic Surgery's vision to both contribute and share its capabilities with Centre of Excellence overseas.
